GL A1300 Setup- Initial Process

Initial setup of slate plus device is very simple. While setting up the hardware of the device you need to do the following

  • Decide a placement for the device while setting it up.
  • Connect the power adaptor to the device.
  • Press the power button given on the device to turn the power on.
  • Use a client device such as a computer or laptop or smartphone to access the device admin interface.
  • Connect the plan device to the slate plus network. For this connection you can use either wire base method or wireless method.
    • Wire base method: it requires an ethernet cable to establish the connection. Connect the cable to the Ethernet port of your travel router and the device with which you desire to configure it.
    • Wireless connection: To establish the wireless connection you need to assess the Wi-Fi settings of your client device. Search for the slate plus default network name. Choose the name and enter the default password (Goodlife) in the password field. Hit the connect option and let the device connect.

GL A1300 Web Based Configuration

Take the computer or laptop clite device for a web based setup method. This setup includes following steps:

  • First of all you need to launch Internet explorer or other similar browser.
  • Visit the search bar of the browser and mention the default IP in it.
  • Hit on the enter option after mentioning the IP and web interface appears.
  • Select the language and create a strong yet memorable password for your admin access.
  • Once you get the access you can move further with the setup to connect that device with the internet.
  • Go to the settings from the admin panel and choose the internet option.
  • Once the new page displays on the screen you will be able to see four options to connect the device with the internet.
  • Among those for options you have to choose one as per preference.
  • After selecting the screen will guide you with the further steps.
  • Follow the proms and complete the GL A1300 setup.

  • Search for the glinet app and choose the installed button to get it downloaded.

  • Next you need to access the settings and go to the internet option.

  • Once your slate Plus is connected with the internet you need to click on apply option to complete the process.
  • As the setup process finishes you can run a speed test to check the new network.

Testing And Troubleshooting

You can use a Wi-Fi enabled device to test the new network you recently created with slate plus device. Also make sure the network speed is accurate along with its security.
