Unboxing the shadow is the first step. The box contains a GL AR300M device along with power adapter, ethernet cable and user manual. Uncover the device and take it out of the box.

Second step of the GL AR300M set up process is power of the device. To power it up you need to press the power button. If the device does not have sufficient charging then you need to plug it in an electric power source to get charged. To charge it up you need to use the power adaptor you got along with the device. Once the device power is on, its LED light lightens up.

Connect To Network

Third step of the setup process is to connect to the network. For this step you need a laptop device or computer. Also you can use a smartphone with iOS or Android operating system. To connect the device you need to follow the following steps:

  • Go to the settings on your computer or laptop or smartphone
  • Search for Wi-Fi settings and run a scan.
  • Look for the shadows default network name.
  • Choose it and enter the password “Goodlife” in the password field.
  • Thereafter you have to click on connect option.
  • Once the device is connected to the shadows network you can initiate the setup.

Access Admin Interface

You can access the admin interface of the shadow device using the web or mobile app. To access the interface using web you need to follow the below mentioned steps:

  • First of all take your connected laptop or computer device and launch Google Chrome or other web browser you have in it.
  • Make sure the browser you are using is the updated version.
  • Take the cursor to the URL bar and type the default IP in it.
  • Hit the enter button and you will get access to the admin panel.
  • Now you need to choose the language in which you desire to proceed with the setup.
  • Also create a secured and strong password for your admin account. A strong password is required to keep your network secure.

  • First of all download the Glinet App from Google Play Store or App store using the virtual internet connection.
  • Thereafter you need to launch the app and start the GL iNet setup.
